Terms of use

Draft for review · Updated October 26, 2026

1. Scope and operator

These website terms concern browsing the Corben website, reading its engineering articles, exploring its illustrative workspace, and preparing partnership or career introductions. References to “Corben” identify the brand used on this site. The legal operator, registered address, business contact, and governing jurisdiction are awaiting confirmation.

A separate written agreement would govern any live software service, enterprise engagement, or commercial partnership. A website demonstration, article, or introduction does not create such an agreement.

2. Using the website

Use the site lawfully and only for purposes for which you have authority. If you act for an organization, make sure you have permission to provide its information. Keep information you choose to share accurate and avoid including unnecessary personal information.

Access to the public website does not grant access to a production agent, repository integration, account, or enterprise service. The interactive workspace uses example issues, progress messages, and pull requests.

3. Content and intellectual property

Rights in the Corben name, website design, original text, and software remain with their respective owners or licensors. You may view the site and use ordinary browser functions to read, bookmark, or share links to its pages. Broader reuse of protected material requires permission or another applicable legal basis.

Third-party product names and cited research identify their respective sources. Their appearance does not establish sponsorship, endorsement, or a partnership. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of information you supply.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the website to distribute malware, impersonate another person, submit information you are not entitled to use, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or facilitate unlawful activity.

Do not attempt unauthorized access, bypass access controls, probe another person’s systems through this site, or deliberately disrupt service. Security testing, repository access, and production work require an agreed scope and authorization.

5. Introductions and applications

Current forms prepare an introduction or application in your browser for you to review, copy, or download. Unless a confirmed delivery method is explicitly shown, completing a form does not send it to Corben. Keep a copy of anything you choose to share.

A partnership introduction does not establish a commercial relationship. A job application does not guarantee an interview or employment. Job scope, engagement terms, eligible hiring locations, and any offer require a separate process and written agreement. All roles listed on this website are remote.

6. AI information and human review

Articles describe AI engineering workflows and may discuss research, industry examples, and the Corben product vision. A demonstration or editorial description is not evidence that a particular production control, service, or certification has been implemented.

Any real generated code, test result, or proposed change must be evaluated in its own context. Human reviewers should assess correctness, security, third-party licensing, and suitability before approval or deployment. A passing check does not by itself establish production readiness.

7. Data, confidentiality, and feedback

The Privacy Policy explains how the current website handles form entries, consent preferences, and optional external fonts. Do not put passwords, tokens, private source code, health information, or other sensitive information into the public demo or application forms.

The site does not establish a confidential engineering workspace or a nondisclosure agreement. Any future handling of confidential code, customer data, model inputs, or model outputs must be addressed in the relevant service agreement, including ownership, processing purposes, retention, and any training permissions.

8. Third-party sites and services

Research references and other links may take you to independent sites with their own policies. We do not control those sites or promise their availability, accuracy, or security. Optional external fonts are subject to the consent controls described in the Privacy Policy.

You remain responsible for reviewing third-party terms before using external software, connecting accounts, or sharing information with another service.

9. Availability and reliance

The website may change, contain mistakes, or become temporarily unavailable. No uptime, support response time, compatibility commitment, or certification is established by this site. Material service commitments would need to be expressly agreed in writing.

Website materials are provided for general information. Verify technical guidance against your environment and the linked research before relying on it for a production decision. These draft terms do not exclude rights or responsibilities that applicable law makes mandatory.

10. Liability and applicable law

Any operative allocation of liability, warranty exclusions, dispute procedure, and governing law must be settled with the confirmed operator and reviewed for the relevant jurisdiction. This draft does not import another company’s financial limits, mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, or choice of law.

No provision is intended to remove a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Terms for an actual product or engagement may differ from these website terms and must be supplied before acceptance.

11. Changes and contact

The revision date identifies the latest version of this draft. When the website’s functionality or processing changes, the relevant terms and privacy information should be updated. Any notice or acceptance required by applicable law remains necessary.

The operator’s legal name, address, legal-contact email, and jurisdiction must be completed before these terms are adopted for public use.
