Privacy policy
Draft for review · Updated October 26, 2026
1. Who is responsible
This notice describes the current Corben website. The legal controller’s name, registered or business address, country, and privacy contact are awaiting confirmation. Any required local representative or data protection officer must also be identified where applicable.
The final policy must reflect the operator’s actual activities and hosting arrangements. Publishing a consent banner or adopting a document does not by itself establish compliance with data protection law.
2. Information handled by this website
Partnership introductions use your name, email, company or project, and message. Career applications use the contact and professional details you enter, the selected role, and your application responses. These fields currently remain in browser memory while you prepare a copy; the application does not submit them to a backend.
The website also handles your saved consent preference. When delivered over a network, hosting providers and any optional external service may receive technical connection information as described below. Do not include passwords, credentials, private source code, government identifiers, health data, or other sensitive information in public forms.
3. Purposes and processing grounds
| Activity | Purpose | Current handling |
|---|---|---|
| Form preparation | Create an introduction or application at your request. | Browser-only processing; no application-level submission or database. |
| Privacy preference | Remember and honor the choice you make. | Necessary preference storage after your selection. |
| Optional external fonts | Display the preferred typography. | Loaded only after opt-in consent. |
| Website delivery and security | Serve pages and protect the hosting environment. | Live provider practices and the operator’s applicable lawful bases must be confirmed before launch. |
If forms are later sent to Corben, the final notice must explain recruitment or partnership processing, recipients, lawful bases, retention, and any additional uses before that collection begins.
4. Forms, copies, and future submissions
Preparing a form does not create an account or submit an application. Copying places the prepared text on your clipboard; downloading creates a file on your device. Those copies are under your control. Your browser or operating system may retain clipboard contents, downloads, or autofill independently.
Reloading clears the current form state. The application does not intentionally put form entries into cookies or local storage. If you later share a copy by email or another service, that delivery service processes it under its own arrangements. A confirmed receiving address and recruitment privacy details must be added before direct applications are enabled.
5. Cookies, local storage, and consent
No analytics or advertising trackers are configured in the application. After you choose, local storage records the key corben-consent-v1 with the preference version, whether optional fonts are allowed, and when the choice was saved.
The application respects that choice for up to 180 days, then asks again. A new choice replaces the record. You may remove the record using browser controls. If storage is unavailable, the preference applies to the current page but may not persist. Host-added cookies or services must be inventoried before public launch.
6. Optional Google Fonts
The default page uses system fonts and does not request Google Fonts. If you accept optional fonts, your browser requests DM Sans and Manrope styles and font files from Google. Google receives connection information such as your IP address and request metadata.
This optional request is controlled by your consent. Read Google’s Privacy Policy for information about its processing. No optional analytics or marketing category is currently used.
7. Changing your preferences
Select Cookie settings in the footer on any page to review or change your choice. Reject optional services to remove the external font stylesheet and prevent future font loading on subsequent page loads. Reload after withdrawal to clear active font styling.
Withdrawal does not reverse requests already made or change the lawfulness of earlier processing. The website remains usable with system fonts. The consent interface provides both acceptance and rejection controls.
8. Recipients and disclosures
The application has no account database, live repository integration, recruiting database, analytics platform, or marketing pixel. It does not submit your form entries to an AI model or use them for model training. Any future AI service needs its own description of providers, inputs, outputs, access, and training controls.
Optional font requests reach Google after opt-in. A live hosting provider may receive delivery and security information. Before public launch, the operator must identify relevant service providers and explain any other actual sharing, legally required disclosures, or organizational transfers. This draft does not authorize hypothetical data uses.
9. Retention and deletion
Form state stays in memory for the current page session and is cleared on reload. Clipboard and downloaded copies can outlast that session and should be deleted through the tools where you saved them. Consent preferences are used for up to 180 days and can be deleted or replaced sooner.
Hosting-log retention and any future application or correspondence retention have not been configured or confirmed in this project. The operator must document their actual periods or meaningful criteria, including any applicable legal preservation duties, before collecting that information.
10. Security and international processing
The site avoids transmitting form entries and gates optional external fonts on consent. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection. Do not submit confidential material through a public demonstration. Security certifications, audit results, or enterprise controls are not established by this website.
Optional external providers and hosting infrastructure may process information in other countries. The operator must confirm relevant locations and applicable transfer safeguards before deployment, such as contractual safeguards where required. This draft does not claim that a specific transfer mechanism has been executed.
11. Rights and requests
Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, withdraw consent, and complain to a competent supervisory authority. Some requests may require identity verification or be subject to lawful exceptions.
The operator must supply a working privacy-contact channel and an appropriate request process before launch, including any required response periods, representative requests, or appeal procedures. For current browser-only data, reload to clear form state, remove downloaded copies yourself, and use Cookie settings or browser storage controls for your consent record.
12. Children and external links
This website is directed toward professional partnership and employment discussions rather than children. It does not offer a child-focused service. Age eligibility, any application restrictions, and a process for addressing children’s information must be confirmed for the actual service and hiring jurisdictions.
Research citations, professional-profile links, and other external links lead to independent services. Visiting them discloses connection information to those destinations and their own privacy policies apply. This site does not embed their trackers or videos.
13. Updates and contact details
The revision date shows when this draft was updated. New hosted forms, recruitment processing, analytics, accounts, integrations, or AI processing must be reflected in revised privacy information and consent controls where required.
Before public launch, complete the controller’s legal name, postal address, privacy email, relevant providers, retention details, processing grounds, and transfer arrangements. Material changes should receive any notice required by applicable law.
